Cookie policy
Which cookies and browser storage Pixabead uses: essential local storage for your patterns, and advertising cookies only with your consent.
Last updated August 16, 2026
This page explains what Pixabead stores in your browser and why.
Storage the site needs to work
Pixabead does not use cookies for its own features. It uses localStorage and IndexedDB — storage that lives in your browser — to remember your bead brand and board size, the patterns you save, your progress in follow mode and whether you have already answered the cookie prompt. This is strictly necessary storage: it stays on your device, is never sent to us and can be cleared from your browser settings at any time.
Advertising cookies (only with your consent)
Where advertising is shown, the ad provider (for example Google AdSense) may set cookies or similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads and, if you agree, to personalise them. In regions where consent is required you are asked first, and you can change your decision at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer. Refusing personalisation still allows non-personalised ads to fund the site.
Typical cookies set by advertising partners:
IDE,test_cookie(Google, ad delivery and frequency capping)__gads,__gpi(Google, ad measurement)
Their exact names and lifetimes are set by the provider and listed in their own policy.
Third-party links
Following an affiliate link to a shop may set that shop's cookies; those are governed by the shop's policy.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Doing so does not break the tools, but you will lose saved patterns and preferences stored on that device.
More detail is in the privacy policy.
